Headquartered in Irving, Texas, this family dinner theater has 9 chains located all around the United States. Each location is called a Castle. These castles are located in Buena Park, California; Dallas, Texas; Schaumburg, Illinois; Lyndhurst, New Jersey; Hanover, Maryland; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; Orlando, Florida and Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Due to its spectacular performance and breath-taking stunts, this family dinner chain was featured in films and certain TV shows in the United States. Some of the films were it was featured was in The Cable Guy (1996) and Garden State (2004). Also, it was featured in some episodes of Cake Boss, Hell’s Kitchen and Celebrity Apprentice. True to its promise of excellence in every performance, the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is also the recipient of the 2013 Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor.

In addition to this, guests may also choose from their delectable menu which they call Bill of Fare. And as their website states, their meals are “feasts for a king! Our four-course meal will be sure to satisfy even the hungriest of knights.” Aside from the ordinary “His Majesty’s royal feast”, they also have vegetarian meals. Their Royal Feast includes Oven Roasted Chicken, Garlic Bread, Tomato Brisque Soup, Herb-Roasted Potato, Spare Rib, Pastry of the Castle, Select Non-Alcoholic Beverages. On the other hand, their vegetarian meals include Hummus, Warm Pita Bread, Carrot and Celery Sticks, 3-Bean Stew with Fire Roasted Tomato and Brown Rice, Fresh Fruit and Italian Ice (based on availability) and Select Non-Alcoholic Beverages. However, it is also important to note that their vegetarian meals are only available upon request. Thus, all customers are encouraged to advise the reservationist of their request or make a note on their internet reservation. Prior to purchasing a ticket, future guests are also directed to first choose a certain castle.

Furthermore, there are some reminders for the future guests. Those with respiratory conditions, allergies or asthma are reminded to take extra precautionary measures in attending the shows since Medieval Times is a live horse show in an enclosed arena. Aside from this, the show also uses stroboscopic and pyrotechnic effects. In addition, there are also some ticket disclaimers.
