Celebrate Disney magic together with dear Santa’s elves in the winter summerland vacation destination that’s Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf! Designed in the amazing pattern of pure Santa-and-his-elves lore, Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf was built by Santa and his elves as an off-duty retreat.

Believe the Story, Enjoy the Charm!

At Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, Florida enjoyment comes alive. Legend has it that Santa discovered snow in Florida as he was about to call it a night one Christmas evening. Delighted by such a find, old Saint Nick decided that this was a good location to build a vacation wonderland for his beloved elves. After that, jolly Santa decided that all that was needed then was a golf course. Thus, he grouped his helpful elves into two teams. Those who loved the snow and the cold were assigned to construct the Winter course. Those who preferred the warm Florida sun worked on the Summer Course. The result: two 18-hole miniature golf courses built the way summer and winter elves want them. No kidding, Joe!

These two miniature golf courses are situated next to Blizzard Beach. They are within Disney’s Animal Kingdom Resort.

With 18 holes to have fun in the sun at the Summer course, and another 18 holes to putt your trail to the North Hole at the Winter Course, there’s never a dull moment at Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf. There are ornaments hung from palm trees at the Summer Course, with its tropical vacation motif. Sandcastles and surfboards galore are caught in the leaves of the trees. The Winter Course offers chilling fun complete with snowmen and winter sleighs.

At both courses at Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, there are interactive elements that will surely keep golfers of all ages well-entertained and having the time of their lives.

At the Winter Course, Squirty the Snowman awaits to surprise players with a spray of water. Be warned: don’t let your golf balls roll under this naughty character!

The Sand Course features a sleeping Santa, tired from his trip from the North Pole and back. Golfers need to do their best to drive the golf ball over this obstacle buried under a huge pile of sand.

The last pairs of holes at the two courses get fused into a common point within a campground log cabin. Two model trains keep the final relays interesting as golfers have to deftly strike the ball between the two trains. It’s either that or the player gets stuck under a fully bedecked pine tree. Oh gosh!

Guests who complete the 18-hole courses make their way through the cyber world as the trademark Disney Winternet whooshes to them a uniquely Saint Nick message. Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf also has Jolly Santa’s refurbished travel trailer called the winterbago, where the starter booth is sheltered. Gift shops sell golf-related merchandise. The small snack shops sell a small variety of snacks like chips and candy, aside from some beverages like juice, water, beer and soda.

Guests can have snapshots of themselves before the statue of a surfing Saint Nick or behind this jolly fellow’s trusty old sleigh.
