One of the most unique travel destinations in downtown Orlando has to be The Parliament House, a premiere gay entertainment hub and hotel found on Rock Lake’s shores. Ever since 1975, each guest who has come through its doors has had an experience not found elsewhere on the planet. The Parliament House is a nightclub and an affordable hotel with seven different and equally entertaining bars. But on top of everything, it is best known for its Footlight Theatre where the Footlight Players have reached the top of the fame ladder. It is most famous for the nightly female impersonation performances during the weekends (at 10PM and 12AM), and on weekdays, guests can also watch pageants and locally produced musicals and plays.
