Walt Disney World has always embodied the creative vision and philosophy of its founder, and the Magic Kingdom has been able to demonstrate this spirit on a profound level. A replica of the Cinderella Castle, so high and regal, aptly serves as the theme park’s symbol.

Serving as the heart and soul of WDW Resorts, the Magic Kingdom is truly the most magical place on earth. Having six distinct magical areas of attraction, the Magic Kingdom is where fantasy becomes reality for people of all ages who pass through its entryway.

Attractions and Rides Galore-All here at the Magic Kingdom

Main Street, USA is where incoming visitors begin their magical journey. Set with stylistic influences from around the US, Main Street has corner buildings each built with a unique architectural style. Its décor motif is reminiscent of 20th century small town America. Park visitors can travel back in time as they get conveyed on a one-way drive down Main Street aboard a dainty horse-drawn carriage on tracks. Main Street at the Magic Kingdom has a number of shops offering a variety of food and merchandise. Traditional American ballpark treats, confectionaries, candied apples, cookies, fudge, chocolate, the list is endless.

Symbolizing the mystery of exploring the world outside of one’s own, Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom has been designed to resemble various foreign places such as a town square in the Caribbean and the remote jungles of the Middle East, the South Pacific, Africa, Asia and South America. Visitors can enjoy a Hawaiian-themed theater show featuring Polynesian music and audio-animatronic birds (Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room), a walk-through at the Swiss Family Treehouse, the originally envisioned wax museum The Pirates of the Caribbean Jungle Cruise, and the classic ride The Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

Also at the Magic Kingdom is Frontierland, where visitors can relive the American Old West with its Native Americans and cowboys. Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Country Bear Jamboree are classic attractions.

The carnival and medieval-faire combination of Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom has charmed dreamers among the young and the young-at-heart for years. Currently, several attractions and rides form part of this section of the Magic Kingdom. Dumbo the Flying Elephant rides, Prince Charming Real Carousel, Peter Pan’s Flight and The Barnstormer are just some of Fantasyland’s well-loved offerings. The attractions in this section have been undergoing expansion.

An American Revolutionary colonial town is what Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom has as its centerpiece. There’s a sign-up location for Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, the Hall of Presidents, the Liberty Belle at Rivers of America, among the area’s attractions.

Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom is intended to have a futuristic intergalactic city concept.
