iFLY Orlando is one of the leading indoor skydiving facilities. It is powered by a 1,000- horsepower state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel that creates a wall-to-wall cushion of air and true free fall conditions where you can safely float, fly or skydive. No parachutes needed nor airplanes or even jumping. Have the most incredible and closest to real flying experience at iFLY Orlando!
No necessary trainings or experience are required to fly. Almost everyone can fly with iFLY. The youngest that they’ve had was a three-year old and the oldest was 103 years old.
All participants must sign a Release of Liability and present a valid ID. However, those who are 18 years old and below must have a parent or legal guardian accompanying them and must sign an iFLY release of liability with a valid ID. In any case that the parent or legal guardian cannot come, the participant should provide an iFLY release of liability signed by a parent or legal guardian and a photocopy of the parent or legal guardian’s valid ID.
Some of their physical restrictions that will disqualify a person to fly are the following:
(a) Those who have prior and present back injuries or shoulder dislocations; (b) women who are pregnant; (c) participants who are intoxicated; (d) for those under 6 feet tall, your weight must be less than 230 pounds while those over 6 feet tall must weigh less than 250 pounds.
First-time flyers should check in 1 hour prior to the scheduled flight to give time to complete the waiver if you didn’t do it online. This time allowance will also allow you to attend the training session and put on your flight gear. Meanwhile, return flyers may arrive about 30 minutes before their scheduled flight time. You may reschedule or transfer your scheduled flight only within at least 48 hours advance notice.
Each entire flight takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Going through the wind tunnel lasts for about 60 seconds. The free fall portion after you jumped from an airplane is about 45 seconds.
Do wear well-fitting, lace-up sneakers or running shoes and casual clothes. It is recommended to wear pants and a shirt with no collar. You won’t change your clothes. You will only put your flight suit on over your street clothes.
