Green Meadows Petting Farm located at Kissimmee, Florida is a place where learning can be fun. It gives out fantastic field trips since 1964 until today. Be captivated by a trip through the fascinating world of their live Butterfly House. After which, enjoy watching your kids run around the farm, searching for small treasures at their annual Easter Egg Hunt. You may also purchase tickets for additional optional activities which include animal feed, pony rides, hayrides and train rides. Their hours of operation run between 9:30AM to 4:00PM.
Another special event to look into is the Ooky-Spooky Haunted House during the Halloween season which is usually held in the month of October. This Halloween event features 13 not-so-scary-yet-fun rooms for your family. You also get the bonus to pick a pumpkin from their pumpkin patch for free.
The last but not the least of the Green Meadows Petting Farm special events is The Red Christmas Born where you can enjoy old fashioned yet fun Christmas Holiday as well as an Open Thanksgiving for New Year’s Day. Take a lovely stroll along their Red Christmas Barn filled with barnyard critters and nostalgic holiday treasures that will bring back childhood Christmas memories. A toy train set, a hobby horse and beautiful dolls are only some of the treasures you’ll find on your visit. Children between ages 12 months to 12 years old get to have a free toy from Santa’s Bag.
